Spirit of Rasputin’s Mission Statement
The mission of the Spirit of Rasputin’s is to create a home for the Ottawa folk music community where we celebrate and promote folk and folk-related music, provide an opportunity for participatory music, and create a launching pad for developing talent.The benefits of membership are many.
CONDITIONS OF MEMBERSHIP: [from By-law No.1]
– Membership in the Corporation is limited to persons interested in furthering the objects of the Corporation. Anyone is a member who has applied to be a member and whose application has been approved by the board of directors of the Corporation.
– Membership dues are $20.
Your membership dues will:
- help to support local folk music
- subsidize numerous “free” music events held throughout the year
As a member you will:
- build comraderie with like minded music supporters
- have early access to tickets for shows likely to sell out
- have access to the For Members area of the website
- have a voice in the affairs of the society
I understand that as a member of the corporation, and under Canadian privacy legislation and the Ontario corporation act, I will have access to the complete membership list, and that my name and contact information will appear there. I understand that this information must only be used for Spirit of Rasputin’s affairs.
