As we are moving to a new venue we will have the time, date and place information as soon as possible. Stay tuned.
What the Bluegrass Jam is all about:
This is an old style participatory jam where participants get a chance to sing harmony, and take solo instrumental breaks with some framework to play with. Bring your friends and family – it’s fun for participants and audience! And … Le Michel-Ange serves up great coffee, teas, and other refreshments.
See you Sept 29 at 1:30 for the Bluegrass Jam with Garry Greenland & Maple Hill – in partnership with The Spirit of Rasputin’s and Le Michel-Ange.
The format is “practice performance” with a core band on stage. Participants rotate on and off with them. Everyone is welcome regardless of skill level. You’ll learn a lot about the traditional bluegrass “one mic dance” and you’ll have a ball.
Suitable for performers, students, and highly entertaining for those who just want to sip a coffee or tea and listen.
